China Telecom (Europe) Ltd. launches CTExcel Mobile service at celebrations for two successful years in Italy
Last updated 15 July 2020
China Telecom (Europe) Ltd. (CTE) launches its CTExcel mobile communication service in Italy on July 15, 2020, in an online ceremony marking the second anniversary of its Italian Office.
The CTExcel mobile communication service will serve Chinese nationals in Italy, including students, employees of Chinese companies, tourists and expatriates. CTExcel shares China Telecom’s belief in „Customer First, Service Foremost“. Following CTE’s history of supporting business travellers worldwide, CTExcel’s flexible packages and services will meet the needs of Chinese mobile users abroad, in many different customer groups.
CTExcel has partnered with Wind Tre, the largest operator in Italy, to offer customers the widest network coverage in Italy, flexible voice/data/SMS packages, and trilingual 24/7 customer services in Chinese, English and Italian to resolve problems at any time. The „one card, two numbers“ service lets customers choose to have an Italian main number and a Chinese sub-number with just one SIM card, so they can receive texts directly from China and make free long-distance calls to friends and family in China.
Almost 200 Italian and Chinese guests, from major Chinese institutions and local operators, joined the anniversary and launch celebrations. They heard speeches from representatives of the Chinese Consulate in Milan, China Telecom (Europe) Ltd., and CTE partner Wind Tre S.p.A. They also had the chance to learn about some of the successes achieved by China Telecom Europe – Italy over the last two years.
Charlie Cao, Managing Director, CTE, said, “CTE is delivering our new service through our partner Wind Tre’s strongest and broadest network. We’re providing a high-quality mobile service that will satisfy the demands of all our clients and customers – from individual callers who want to call home, to Italian enterprises doing business in China. We look forward to even more international communication co-operation in future – on broadband transmission, Cloud, 5G, AI and Internet of Things.”
CTE continues to strive for excellence, to deliver better products and more efficient services for its customers, drawing on China Telecom’s experience in communications and digitalisation in China and Europe. Now CTE is developing a broad range of communications services, including 5G, Internet of Things and Big Data. It aims to deliver the highest quality communications services to companies and customers worldwide and to strengthen the cooperation between China and Europe in the field of information technology.
